In recent days, we have added a number of improvements on our Myanmar Today website. These are summerized below.
- New and improved site design - the overall look and design of the Myanmar Today site has been changed to a new theme. This will enable users to navigate easily through the whole website.
- Addition of google custom site search - visitors can now easily search old posts and archives in Myanmar Today using famed Google site search.
- Email subscription - visitors can stay up to date with the latest posts on Myanmar Today through Email subscription using Feed Burner.
- New Social book marking tools added. Visitors can now easily bookmark their favorite posts at their favorite social bookmarking sites.
- Discussions page added - visitors can now see all the comments discussions in a single page. No need to browse through the entire website to see all the comments and discussions.
- The home page design is also improved so that instead of all ten posts coming up full, only the first two posts are shown in full and the rests are shown in excerpt. This will significantly reduce the page load time.
- Page navigation bar added - instead of simple next and previous page links, the page navigation bar is added so that visitors can easily jump to the desired page instantly.
- New improved excerpt - instead of simple boring text excerpts, the new excerpt now includes photos if there is any photo in the post. This will make the excerpts more attractive.
